Help with Braun system

Hello,
I have the opportunity to buy some LE-1 speakers. I've always loved the Rams design and the Quad ESL 57 sound. This is something I've wanted for a long time.

Could people recommend the best system to accompany that, a tuner, a receiver, and a turntable.

I was thinking a full 1000 Series, CE1000, CSV1000 and PS1000.

But I've been reading that the LE-1's are better with CSV13 or CSV60. What are peoples' thoughts? What about tuner and record player?

Money is not really an option, because this will be my main living room system, so I want the best. The only thing is, it has to be Rams (and not atelier). The system needs to look nice on my 606 shelves

the perfect combination with the LE1 are the CSV13 of CSV60, the matching tuner is a CE16 and the
recordplayer should be a PCS5! I own the set without the LE1 and its still not only very good looking
but even very good sounding in comparison with modern equipment!

Thank you for your response! Is there any advantage to getting a CVS13 or CVS60 vs. CVS1000?

I'm not worried about getting the exact model that came out with the speakers, but rather the best sounding and the most compatible. I've read that the 1000 series is the best. Is that true?

Maybe I get a CVS60 and with a CE1000 and PS1000. Is that a good idea?

Hello Alex,
only CSV13 and CSV60 (and CV11 from Studio 2) can supply the required high voltage output for the LE 1. CE 1000 is probably a better tuner then CE 16, but in terms of design it would look strange to combine a CE 1000 with a CSV 13 or 60.

I, myself wouldn´t mind mixing speakers with equipment from different periods, too. But I wouldn´t combine a tuner, an amplifier and a turntable from different design lines, if there is a priority for the look of the whole set.

Just the LE 1 doesn´t need a high power amplifier and should sound really good with tube amplifiers, so CSV 13 or CSV 60 would be the best choice.

The CSV 1000 is a very good, powerful system, with a great sound, made to supply speakers needing a lot of power.

It's actually kind of good news as I miss my old McIntosh tube sound.

I think it will look and sound great regardless.

One other question, I've read that the LE-1's don't produce low frequency bellow 40hz. Seems that some people supplement the speakers with a small low-end sub. Would the CSV 60 have the connection for this or provide enough power?
