PS500 - Where does this little part belong?

Hi,

to be able to repair the broken cable between the on/off "button" and the rubber wheel, I had to put the turntable on its head. At that moment something fell out. Can someone tell me where I've got to put this part please?
It's about 3-4cm long.

I would say that this is the pin for the brush arm in the back left corner of the player, see image
