I have a pair of German made L710 speakers in a glossy white finish. I would like to refinish them using a glossy black paint, and I am wondering if anyone knows what type of paint would be best for this job? There are screws on the rear panels, and I would like to know if I can remove the panels without causing damage to the interior? Thanks !!

Als nicht-professioneller Lackierer würde ich an deiner Stelle davon abraten. Hatte in meiner Vergangenheit auch schon versucht ein Paar Canton GLE 70 (Schwarz) mit Acryllack wieder herzurichten. Das Ergebnis war nach mehreren Stunden Arbeit sehr ernüchternd. Desweiteren gab es die Braun L710 meiner Kenntnis nach nicht in der schwarzen Ausführung, weshalb es schwer ist eine pauschale Farbauswahl zu treffen.
Am besten du übergibst sie dem Lackierer.

in order to achieve a satisfactory paint finish a professional application is highly recommended, particularly when high-gloss is required because this is not a forgiving surface which will even magnify any smallest defect or imperfection like dust nibs.

the best possible result will most likely be achieved with a two component acrylic urethane paint or - even better! - with a clear-over-base paint system where a glossy 2k acrylic urethane clear coat will applied on top of a 1k (= one-component) color basecoat. with a system like that scratches or any other defect can easily be polished without affecting the color impression.

anyway, a professional body or industrial paint shop would be the right address to turn to.
