On one of my TG 1000s a previous owner has glued a metal pin to the outside edge of the tension pins, presumably to stop the possibility of the tape coming off the top of the pins.
Is this a known unofficial modification ?

I have noticed that the top edge of the tape is close/very close to the top of the tape tension pins on my TG 1000s and my TG 1020.
On one of my TG 1000s a previous owner has glued a metal pin to the outside edge of the tension pins, presumably to stop the possibility of the tape coming off the top of the pins.
Is this a known unofficial modification ?
