Audio 308 - Low FM reception

Hello,

I am restoring an Audio 308. I did a full recap, adjusted the amplifier section and cleaned the tone controls.
The record player and amplifier work great, but the FM radio needs a large antenna to receive high-level channels (other channels are received, but with faint sound).
I wanted to know whether this is a typical issue. Something related to some transistors with low gain ? Or the op-amps which can turn bad after all these years ?
